For this film, we embraced the humorous, relatable reality of India’s rapid transition to electric mobility. The narrative playfully contrasts the classic “jugaad” (makeshift) mentality of a traditional, grease-stained local mechanic with the sophisticated, tech-first approach required for modern electric scooters. Through a comical struggle involving heavy tools, brute force, and a highly misplaced fuel can, we highlight a simple but critical truth: you can’t fix the future with the tools of the past.

No heavy preaching. No dry technical lectures. Just a culturally resonant, entertaining story that proves when it comes to your electric vehicle, you need a digital diagnosis, not a sledgehammer.

What We Did

🔹 Campaign Objective: To position Servall as the premier, trusted expert for EV servicing, educating the market that traditional neighborhood repair methods are not just obsolete, but potentially harmful to electric two-wheelers.

🔹 Brand’s Instruction: Servall wanted a highly engaging, culturally rooted ad that addressed the anxiety EV owners face regarding unauthorized repairs. The brief was to visually contrast the chaotic, outdated local garage culture with Servall’s clean, professional, and software-led service, driving home their core philosophy: “Expertise Over Jugaad.”

🔹 How We Executed It: We utilized contrasting visual and tonal storytelling. The first half is set in a gritty, dimly lit garage, relying on exaggerated, comedic physical acting to highlight the absurdity of using analog tools on a digital machine. We then created a sharp, immediate transition into the bright, modern, and highly organized environment of a Servall center. By focusing on close-ups of advanced digital diagnostic devices rather than spanners and oil, we visually cemented the “EV is a computer” messaging.

🔹 The Result: A highly entertaining, shareable film that strikes a perfect balance between comedy and consumer education. It successfully creates a distinct wedge between traditional mechanics and Servall’s specialized tech-care, driving strong brand recall and trust among modern EV owners.
