The Case of the Perfect Pants

When fashion met investigation — and comfort became the ultimate suspect.

In a world where perfection arouses suspicion, our detective found himself tracing clues not of crime, but of craftsmanship. “Why are these pants so soft? So refined?” — he wondered, before uncovering the truth stitched within the tag: Made with Hemp. Made by Eccentric.
This cinematic short film turns a simple pair of green pants into a story of discovery, mystery, and unmatched texture — blending fashion with storytelling the Shuruwaat way.

What We Did

🔹 Campaign Objective
To position Eccentric’s hemp-based pants as a product that feels suspiciously perfect — so good, it demands an investigation.

🔹 Brand’s Instruction
Eccentric wanted a bold, masculine tone with a dark, cinematic vibe that could speak to their audience — modern, confident, and effortlessly stylish. The video had to highlight the softness and unique texture of the hemp fabric while keeping it edgy and intriguing.

🔹 How We Executed It
We explored multiple studio options to find one that captured the perfect noir mood. Once finalized, we set up a full cinematic lighting rig and shot with high-end cameras to maintain a moody, detective-style aesthetic.
Every frame was designed to feel like a scene from a neo-noir film — sharp, mysterious, and captivating.
The edit tested our patience, with color grading challenges in both Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve — but our team pushed through to craft visuals that truly embodied the “gangster detective” tone.

🔹 The Result
A visually rich, story-driven fashion film that turned curiosity into connection. The video not only elevated Eccentric’s product narrative but also reinforced their identity as a bold, experimental brand redefining sustainable fashion.
